Hello Again!

Good Evening Everyone, 

Lately I have been experiencing a creative block as well as writers block, hence the reason I have not been posting on my blog, but I believe I have pulled myself out of this creative block. The first thing I have created in a long while is our family monogram to fill the empty space in collage pictures on my living room wall.

I apologize!

I wanna apologize for not posting in a long while. I have been very busy planning my sister's baby shower and the theme and menu have been established. We just found out she is having a precious little baby boy so deciding on the theme became a lot easier....... I really cannot post details since she watches my blog posts. I will definitely post pictures after the shower. All I can say is it will be totally cute and she will not be disappointed, so please stay tuned!

Baby Kimora's Quilt

I made this quilt for a friends newborn granddaughter. It took a lot of work, but was totally worth the fulfillment I gained from creating it. I totally adore this quilt. It is almost a shame I have to give it away. 

Splendid days!

The weather has been absolutely splendid the past few days with the exception of Thursday and Friday. I have been able to get out and enjoy the sunshine with my little sunshine. He absolutely loves playing outside. 

My little guy is on the right in gray. 

Dying our Easter eggs

I know it is a few weeks after Easter, but I had to post the pictures of the little man's first time dying Easter eggs. He dyed them all green and blue.

As you all know I am working on 2 quilts for two babies due this month. One is a boy quilt and one is a girl quilt. I have finally pieced together the top for the boy quilt.

Well, today I finally finished the quilt I made for baby Sylas who is due on Saturday 4/20/2013. His mommy and daddy absolutely love it, which makes me proud. Here are the pictures of my finished product.

Living on a shoe string

I am currently out of work due to an auto accident I was in in October and I am looking for creative ways to make some money to help take care of my family. Creative inspirations are constantly running through my head and there is a lot I can do, I just do not know where to begin. If anyone has any money making tips using my creative talents that would be awesome. 

Easter Basket Saavy

Well I finally bought my little guy his Easter candy and some books and small toys to go along with them. A three year old cannot have all candy in his basket after all. I am so excited to put this basket together. Easter baskets are my thing. Once his basket is together and complete, I will post my pictures. 

As promised, here are the pictures of my son's Easter basket. I was so elated when he saw it. He just wanted to dig right in. 

Easter is on it's way!

Well with Easter just around the corner (sooner then I expected), I have a lot to accomplish. My Easter candy is still at the store and the baskets are still in the basement. I am so far behind this year and to make matters worse, just like every holiday, I am left to stress and panic about an Easter outfit for my 3 year old son to wear. Why do they not make cute outfits for boys for the holidays? I go to Target, Walmart, Burlington Coat Factory and even Kohl's and all I see is huge sections of frilly dresses for all the little girls in the world. It seems like the boys get the shaft in every aspect of the clothes department. Do I have to dress my boy up in a dress? Is it really that difficult for a clothes designer to make those  little boys some holiday outfits, so my little boy can look adorably cute as well? I know I am not the only one that has noticed this issue and in the off chance I am and there is a secret place the boys holiday outfits are hiding, could someone let me in on the secret?

Looking for inspiration

I have been going through so many blog sites looking for crafting inspirations and as I am doing this, I came across some fabulous sites. I feel my site is quite boring and would like to spruce it up, but have no idea how. I do not understand why Blogger does not allow you to add several posts to my Home page. I can only post on my creative insight page. Does anyone know how to separate posts. I wanted a project page to show case all my projects, but it did not work out since I could not post more than one post. I see tutorial pages on other sites also. How do they achieve the ability to post more than once on several different pages. UUUUGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Someone please help!

I have been trying hard to keep up with this blog thing, even though I do not have a huge audience. I recently found out my sis is having another baby. Yay! I have been very busy planning her baby shower and I must keep the details a secret, but I have a wonderful theme. I am so excited about it that I wish it was tomorrow, but unfortunately she is not due for another 9 or so months. Along with all of this, I am also in the middle of making 3 quilts. I know, I get ahead of myself often. I love to jump into things head first and with 2 babies due next month, I must get these quilts finished pronto. Well good night everyone. Sweet Dreams!

Baby quilt #2

Well I'm almost done my second baby quilt that I am making for a friends granddaughter. I just have to add the borders and the top will be completed. It took me two days to get this far at two hours each day. I am so excited to see how it looks when I am done.
